Iohannes Leech was a school-master whose expansion on Lily's Grammar seems to have been very popular, going
through multiple editions. A number of these include four colloquia he had collected some years prior to
publication with or without an English translation. We have made use of a 1650 edition this edition, though other
additions can be found here, here,
and here
without the dialogues. He seems to be unrelated to the contemporary Scottish Latin poet Iohannes Leochaeus,
whose works can be found here,
